My wife and I celebrated our early retirement and 40th wedding anniversary with a trip to Europe. My ancestors are from Germany, hers from Poland. Pat convinced us to visit these countries with Globus Journeys. We toured for two weeks with 22 "new" friends from USA, Canada & Australia. The tour highlighted WWII events and locations. We ended that tour in Munich where we started our Danube river cruise to Budapest. Pat took care of all the travel details, logistics & travel insurance. Where do I begin to thank Courtney Cwiek for everything she did for my family and I to plan the vacation of a lifetime? We had no idea where to begin when we decided to take our first trip out of the Country. I contacted Courtney and explained to her that we wanted to take our daughter for her birthday/high school graduation to Italy, Greece and Sicily and had no idea where or how to start the planning process. Courtney immediately started working on a plan that would be best for us and came up with the idea of cruising on Celebrity Beyond which would take us through every area that we hoped to see and so much more!! We had a really great time in Spain-My Fitbit said we walked 42 miles in six days! We ate tapas every day, saw a flamenco show and we drank lots of great Spanish wines, Montserrat was amazing, we love all of the rich history in Madrid. We all left wishing we had a few more days. Each hotel we stayed was very comfortable.
