Susanne helped us plan a graduation celebration vacation with 3 families/14 individuals. The accommodations were perfect for our group, we couldn't have been any happier! We were able to sit near each other on the plane, and she arranged two large transport vans to drive us to the resort, then back to the airport when we left. My husband has celiac disease, so of course we were concerned about food safety and options. She alerted the resort and provided us reassurance regarding their ability to accommodate someone who cannot eat gluten. I always have to plan for 16-28 people. Susanne is so helpful. We have so many different needs with W/C ‘s, odd numbers in rooms etc, and yet we all want to be together. This last cruise to Alaska, we had balcony rooms for some and 3 person rooms for others. We ended up being 1 floor apart and our balconies looked over theirs….so while we weren’t exactly together, she made it so we were together in a sense. Susanne Van Speybroeck and her staff at Cruise Planners did a wonderful job arranging our transatlantic cruises on the Queen Mary 2 between New York and Southampton, England, as well as a two week CIE land tour through Scotland and Ireland. Everything went smoothly, and we had a wonderful time. Susanne even touched base with us from time to time to make sure all was well. She also did a great job of informing us of all the expenses ahead of the trip. No unpleasant surprises. This is the second trip Susanne planned for us. I liked working with her for several reasons. She was invaluable with suggestions and advice and was able to use vendors to ensure our safety (we arrived in Tel Aviv amidst some airport closures, etc).

WE LOVE JANET WEST! We have known Janet for years and our travels have been blessed by her extreme attention to detail, ability to listen and curate adventures that interest us, and sensibility regarding not only our budget but our time at the destination. My wife and I vacation in two different ways - RELAX or TOUR. Janet planned our 15th anniversary trip to Rome, where we wanted to soak in as much as we could in the week we had in the city. She planned tours and excursions that checked all of the boxes on our list, while also sprinkling some rest into the mix. When our tour group left before the posted AM arrival time, we called Janet in the US and she rebooked us on the spot - in the middle of the night! She followed up Rome with a weeklong vacation to the Dominican Republic for our family of five. We relaxed on this one and enjoyed everything the island and resort had to offer! Finally, she planned a European adventure, also for our family of five. We attended a family wedding in Venice and Janet wove all the sightseeing we could handle into our already crowded wedding agenda. After the wedding, we flew to London, where we enjoyed 7 awesome days of exploration, tours, and sightseeing. It was seamless! My wife and I have had it on our bucket list to visit South America and Antarctica for many years so that we could complete our travels to all 7 continents. We didn't know when or if this trip would ever happen, until we worked with Janet West. She informed us about Atlas Ocean Voyages and their expedition cruises to Antarctica, leaving out of Argentina. Janet did an amazing job of researching the details up front to let us know about the cruise ship/line, itinerary options, travel requirements and the total trip cost. One of our requirements for going to Antarctica was that we needed to have "boots on ground" in order to say that we had truly visited the destination, and this type of expedition cruising is exactly what we were wanting. The smaller ship format made it easy to get around the beautifully appointed vessel, World Traveller. The food on the ship was top quality, the crew could not have been more friendly and knowledgeable, and the numerous expeditions off the ship were amazing. The before and after cruise time we had in Argentina was also fantastic. We can't thank Janet enough for the work she put into making this dream trip come true for us. Her regular and thoughtful communication throughout the process was most appreciated, and we knew we were in good hands working with her from day one. Janet has been our go-to person for all of our travel outside of the country and I honestly don’t know how we would’ve managed without her. Janet has arranged three trips to Europe and most recent, Australia for us. We booked our Christmas cruise through Susanne and her team this past summer and they were a huge part of our successful trip! They gave us options of different cruises and were great at helping us narrow it down to h Royal Caribbean! Susanne stayed in touch with us all the way up to the day of travel. She was able to find us multiple rooms on the ship all next to each other and was able to get us a ton of on board credit to use for various activities. Oh, and also sent suggested excursions for the 3 port days. Don’t ever book an international trip on your own. Get with Susanne and her team to help. She helped navigate our entire trip. 1st she learned what we like to do, money we can spend, food we like to eat and arrange the best package for us and excursions and worked with us all along the way. She helped us with drink packages, beautiful room with balcony best part of the ship to be on for most comfortable ride and low noise. I liked the convenience of staying at a resort that had “everything on property “ or within a short walking distance in Kona. I preferred Hilo for beautiful scenery! I know there’s a lot to see and do on the big island, but my preference was Kauai! I love the sand, sun, and gorgeous blue ocean! The Sheraton Poipu Beach was fabulous! The ocean view room, so nice listening to the waves crash! I thoroughly enjoyed the luau at sunset right on the beach. I decided I wanted to spend my 70th Birthday in Hawaii, with my daughters, so I called Susanne (Cruise Planners) right away to start the planning. And that’s when it became easy! She did all the work and I just continued to get excited! She is a pleasure and a joy to know and work with on a travel adventure! Questions were answered quickly and satisfactorily. So I've never used a travel agent before because I always thought... "a 3rd party will just make it cost more. I can find the best price out there on my own". Well, after meeting Susanne at an event, I decided to go ahead and set up a meeting with her to see what she could do for my (and my wife's) 30th anniversary cruise we were planning. I had already been shopping on line with all the various cruise outfits, so I had a good idea of what the pricing was like. To make a long (great) story short... from that first meeting until now, I have been blown away with Susanne's professionalism and her dedication to my vacation! I feel like she is planning this thing for herself! And, the price she quoted us in the beginning for the cruise was cheaper than anything I could find myself on line - and guess what? About 6 weeks after paying a deposit... Susanne sends me an email with good news: the price actually was going down quite a bit! She also got us plane tickets to Europe for significantly cheaper than anything I could find using Orbitz... Our actual trip is still a couple months away, but Susanne is staying in touch and helping us plan EVERY aspect of our trip and finding us the absolute best prices for everything involved. She is taking ALL of the work out of this vacation - providing us with instructions and "to-do's" for everything we might need for traveling abroad. To say I am pleased with her work and with Cruise Planners in general (their web page and app is very helpful and nicely designed too - even has weather forecasts for all your port of calls... all in one place!) is an understatement.
