We're Tammy & Thomas Wilson. We own "Cruise Planners Maine" in Brunswick, Maine. Our agency is a part of the Cruise Planners franchises. We plan trips (and take trips) with our friends, and customers who live in York, Cumberland, Sagadahoc and Androscoggin counties.
We lived in Italy for 5 years and we traveled to France, Germany, Switzerland, England, Austria and many other countries. We learned how to get around easily and where some of the most amazing sites and experiences are located. Which is why when we returned to the states we decided to make traveling our life. We want to share our passion and love for travel with as many friends, family, and clients as we can.
We book vacations and trips for individuals going on a quest, families traveling together, or groups trekking to the far corners of the globe. We do it all: land, cruise, resort, or adventure. If you live in the greater Bath, Brunswick area, in Freeport, Portland or any of the other cities or towns in southern Maine, we can plan your trip. We generally don't charge fees for our services unless its airline tickets only. We get paid from the travel companies, resorts or tour operators.
If you choose to let us book your vacations, you'll receive very personalized customer service because it's just the two of us in the office. When you call, text or email you'll get one of us, every time. We don't hand you off to "the next available agent" because there isn't one. It's just Tammy and Thomas. We get to know our clients and how, when and where they like to travel. We know their interests and what delights them. Barb sent me the information on Katarina Cruises in Croatia and the cost, the size of the ship, the itinerary looked great. The actual cruise exceeded my expectations -- the scenery was breathtaking, the ship was clean and even SPACIOUS. The stops at various islands included walking tours, wine tastings, Oyster/mussel tasting, and were all to islands with excellent restaurants and shopping. My husband and I decided to take a cruise after 30 years together. I was anxious about going to Europe and getting on a ship and all the things that went with it. Barbara made our trip flawless. From booking flight and transportation and the ship itself it was perfect. She was available for any difficulties and we had all the phone numbers we needed for help and transportation. Tammy and Thomas Wilson are the best! We have known them for years and have been on trips with them to Iceland and the Canadian Rockies, including the Rocky Mountaineer. We were booked for a river cruise to The Netherlands and Belgium and 4 days before our departure we were notified that our trip had been cancelled due to "unplanned maintenance". My wife and I have just returned from a fabulous journey on the Rocky Mountaineer through the glorious Canadian Rockies, the trip having been arranged by Tammy and Thomas Wilson. Every detail was seamlessly attended to, including arranging for a wheelchair to go through all airports and transfers from the airports to our hotels. Tammy and Thomas thought of everything, including birthday and anniversary greetings, and accompanied our group on the trip, as well. Our long awaited Scotland trip arrived after having been postponed three times due to the ongoing pandemic. We had concerns regarding the safety of international travel and fully discussed our concerns with Tammy. She was current on all of the protocols required for out trip and was beyond helpful in completing the many necessary forms to ensure not only our health safety but the requirements of those we would come into contact with on the tour!
Tammy visited us at our home to review all of the logistics of our trip and knowing that my husband was very concerned about the virus took extra time to answer his questions and to explain potential scenarios should one of us become ill.
