This resort was just right for us. Not too big but yet it had everything we wanted to do. The beach was very nice and well maintained. It did not have big waves since it is in a bay and very little seaweed. We enjoyed the variety of water sports available and included. We did them all. All of our meals were very good with plenty of choices each time. The room was very nice but the room service was outstanding. Staff were friendly and wanted to do everything for you. Even with no tips. The resort layout was excellent. Everything was close which made meeting others easy. We would prefer this resort over Couples Swept away. We had a great time at Negril and would reccommend it to any one. The down side is the bus ride to Negril is depressing. You see how so many people there are living. Roads are poor. Night time entertainment at Negril is ok but not the greatest if you want good music. But the evening firepit with music is very nice. - Roger S.

Sally did an amazing job with our group. Virgin didn't make it easy, for her, but she persevered through all of the changes, that Virgin threw at us, for a very large travel group. She had to ensure all funds were reimbursed with the date changes for travel, hotel etc..... No easy task for even a veteran traveler and I know because I have been for decades. Cruise was overall very good. This trip had a few weather related changes mid-cruise that shifted our itinerary so we did not get to port in Shetland Islands and some excursions were cancelled. The Norway ports of call were amazing - Glaciers, Lakes, Mountains, Fjords. Torshavn in the Faroe Islands was great as well. The Norwegian Sky is a beautiful small ship. Each lounge and area are used everyday for a variety of activities — everything from the typical bingo to different games, talks and demonstrations, arts and crafts, auctions, and classes. The 2 pools are deeper than most cruise ship pools (7’) with 4 hot tubs between them. The hot tubs were hot. The dining options were varied and the food good. The only complaint food wise is that there are a couple of hours without any food options and, naturally, that was when my body decided it was lunchtime (I should have adjusted my breakfast time so that I was ready to have lunch earlier). The crew were friendly and helpful, room stewards hours were different on this ship so only one service per day. The pool towels are no longer placed in the room, you had to remember to stop at the towel hut to get them before excursions. They were available at the gang-way so it wasn’t difficult to get them. They also had bins to drop off towels when returning and gave out wet washcloths to freshen up while waiting to get back on the ship. Excursions: Dominican Republic - Fricolandia; it was different and we enjoyed it but wouldn’t choose it again. St. Thomas - Pedal Boat to Honeymoon Beach; a small boat so small crowd which was very nice. The boat was fun and interesting, you can pedal or not, the crew kept everyone supplied with the best rum punch we had all cruise or water, if that was preferred. Honeymoon Beach is a small, secluded beach with no crowds. Lots of sea turtles, remember to bring your snorkel gear. Tortola - Sail to Jost Van Dyke; a catamaran sail to Jost Van Dyke. The captain and crew were great, the rum punch awful. The food and drinks from the restaurants there were good but pricey as one would expect in that setting; not price gouging level. St. Maarten - we did a catamaran sail and snorkel excursion through a private company and while we enjoyed it, would not recommend it, especially for children or anyone that may be a weak swimmer. The crew were pleasant, the rum punch awful though not as bad as the Tortola excursion. San Juan - we walked about on our own, had a few drinks and lunch. Great Stirrup Cay - their private island; a lovely day. The lunch buffet had probably my favorite dessert of the cruise - pistachio blondies. I didn’t want dessert, hubby did and brought back one piece of this delicious dessert. I took a taste and have spent time since then searching the internet for the recipe. If I had not been full from my lunch I would have gone to the dessert line and taken many pieces. This was a wonderful cruise, the ship is beautiful, the itinerary good, the crew wonderful, fellow passengers were great - everyone polite and kind, the drinks and food yummy. - Elizabeth S.

She listened to our trip desires and made it all happen! Everything was flawless. She found the perfect place for us. She was also very organized with our documents and directions. We didn't have to worry about anything. If I had a question, she was always very quick to respond. She emails right back with any answers you need, she was instrumental in helping us after not being able to take our cruise due to the hurricane. She was encouraging, helpful and so very kind! Everything went very well and we had a great time on our 8-day Norwegian Getaway Cruise to the Western Caribbean – just as Kelly promised! We’re glad Kelly gave us so many tips on what to do and expect, though we really didn’t come to realize what she had told us until we experienced it ourselves. The ship was great, the weather perfect. Lots of stuff to do all the time. We were worried we wouldn’t get enough exercise on the ship but found all we needed to do is never use an elevator and we got a lot of stair climbing in. Our room at the back of the ship on Deck 10 seemed very small when we first walked in. It quickly turned out to be all we needed. The balcony was the best part. Food was great, certainly couldn’t ever go hungry. Crew were everywhere all the time to assist. Those were some overall happy folks and made the cruise lots of fun. The cruise included a stop at Roatan Island, Honduras that was really neat. Monkeys climbed on us at the wildlife preserve—which was a highlight. Beautiful reef there, the best we saw by far. The second port was Harvest Kaye, Belize (the new three-month old NCL island) was not much for us and the only disappointment of the whole trip. Norwegian obviously spent a lot of money making the little island look like a perfect Disneyland vacation island, but if we wanted to go to a Disneyland island, why bother to go to Belize? Other couples we spoke with said the same thing about it. There were no tours off the island at all, so we felt like it wasted our day. We’ll definitely go on another cruise and have Kelly plan it. We can see now why cruises are so popular as they certainly make everything simple and easy. We couldn’t believe we had to cook our own dinner the day we got home! - Douglas S.
