During our cruise both of us contracted and were treated for covid which may color our reviews of Holland America. Because we were confined to quarters the last half of our cruise, we missed out on some of the entertainment, lectures and other activities. We also found the food in the Main Dining Room and Lido Deck dining area rather average. The steak was tough and chewy, the breads offered weren't particularly tasty, nor was there much offered in the way of seafood such as shrimp, crab or lobster. We enjoyed the land portion of our tour. The accommodations in Anchorage and Fairbanks were excellent. Denali was pretty rustic. I'm not sure I would choose to purchase the land tour meal package again. The restaurants we ate at were excellent, but I think we would have saved money buy simply buying the meals on our own.- Douglas L.

We had not been to Europe as a couple and wanted to be able to see some art and experience the culture without having to research hotels, transportation and restaurants. If you ever have a chance to go on a trip that John has planned, you need to seize the opportunity and go. Even before boarding the ship in Seattle port, and when we got off the ship in Seattle, the staff were all very courteous and helpful. This trip was beyond amazing! I called John and told him that we wanted to tour all the Hawaiian Islands on our 15th since we were married in Maui on Kaanapali Beach.
John came up with the Norweigian Cruise Line "Pride of America" Hawaiian Island Tour Package. We toured all the Major Hawaiian Islands and had an awesome Anniversary Vacation.
John communicated to me that I should go on Norwegian Cruise Line Website and Pick out the Excursions that we wanted to take, which were a total of 90 to pick from. Were were busy every day all day long touring every Island, the memories of which we will never forget!
We had a Fabulous Vacation that went Flawless throughout the entire Vacation.
