Cruise Planners CEO and Founder Michelle Fee sat down with Camille Olivere Vice President of Sales for Norwegian Cruise Line to discuss what we can expect from the Norwegian Bliss, Norweigan Cruise Line's latest ship that will sail Alaska in the summer and the Caribbean in the winter.
Michelle Fee: What’s different about the new Norwegian Bliss?
Camille Olivere: The Norwegian Bliss was purpose-built for Alaska, and what that means is we have a lot of viewing area with the Horizon Lounge having a 180-degree view — it’s the same view as the captain! In addition to a racetrack and laser tag, there are also two tandem slides that go outside the ship! And of course, we have a Broadway show, “Jersey Boys!”
Michelle Fee: Who is the perfect customer for the new Norwegian Bliss?
Camille Olivere: Alaska is a bucket list for so many people and this ship with this itinerary is great for families since we have something for everyone. If you’re a multi-generational family where the grandparents want more luxury, they can be up in the Haven, or if you have somebody that’s on their own, we have the solo staterooms, and for families, we have connecting balconies.
