Vicki Freed and Dondra Ritzenthaler from Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises put on quite a show when they threw raw eggs and flour at each other and discussed how agents can cook up a “Recipe for Success.”
Dressed in aprons as Lucy and Ethel, the comic duo highlighted how cruise lines provide all the ingredients for CP agents to cook up success. Below, their Recipe for Success:
1 cup – Truly leveraging your preferred suppliers and strategic partnerships and selling exclusive deals with cruise lines. (Sell the innovations the cruise lines are unveiling, like the Oasis of the Seas.)
2 tsp – Selling on Value, Not on Price (Don’t sell a plain vanilla cruise because cruisers are not looking for plain vanilla – they want a complete cruising experience.)
3 tbsp – Exclusive Headquarter Groups Program (Constantly promote new programs and deals)
A pinch – Incredible tools. Like home office tools unveiled this week at convention including the all-new CPU, Sketch, H.O.O.P.S. and CP’s new communications coach.
2 lbs – CRUISITUDE!!
Every day when you sell, do it with a positive attitude – cruisitude!
What do CP Execs say is their recipe to success?:
Michelle Fee ate her way across the stage indulging in sprinkles, milk and M&Ms representing a blend of CPAgent, CPU and Cruisitude as her perfect recipe for success.
Terri Burke said being in the cruising industry is her recipe for success. Being passionate about cruising is vital to closing sales so she recommends finding your passion.
Vicky Garcia said it is the relationships with anchor partners and especially the passion and genuine commitment of CP agents that she sees as success.
Take home: Don’t settle for less - settle for more.
