The greenest city
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, green? Yes, it plans to be. It has begun building what it calls the world's first zero-carbon city—Masdar City. And it will be powered mainly by solar energy and recycling waste and water. The city is expected to be completed by 2015 at an estimated cost of $22 billion.
