Going green
Green is in.
Going green is not only something you can do at home, but at the office too. In fact, companies see a future in practicing “sustainability”. This is the act of reducing corporate fallout on our environment as well as our society. It’s the future of business.
But, how can we go greener, sooner? Start by taking these simple steps at your office or home office today:
-
Keep mailing lists current to avoid duplicate mailings.
-
Recycle your ink / toner cartridges, or refill them if you can.
-
Only print an e-mail if you truly need to.
Did you know?
-
If all the cars on U.S. roads had properly inflated tires, it would save nearly 2 billion gallons of gasoline a year.
-
The amount of wood and paper we throw away each year is enough to heat 50 million homes for 20 years.
- Americans throw away about 40 billion soft drink cans and bottles every year. Placed end to end, they would reach to the moon and back nearly 20 times.
