Carnival names Cruise Planners as Agency of the Year
Coral Springs, FL – Carnival Cruise Lines has named Cruise Planners as "Agency of the Year" for 2005. In a letter from Carnival President and CEO Bob Dickinson, Cruise Planners was cited for its "consistent, enthusiastic support for the cruise industry in general and Carnival in particular." Cruise Planners was also lauded for its creativity and marketing acumen, the sales ability of its staff, professional deportment and keen sense of cooperation in all areas of the company.
"It is with pride that we recognize Cruise Planners as a shining example to which travel agencies can aspire," Dickinson said. "You and your fine organization richly deserve this singular recognition."
Executives at Cruise Planners, which has operated its network of franchised agents since 1994, were quite pleased about the award.
"It's a very prestigious award and we're delighted," said Cruise Planners President and CEO Marvin Davis. "We give a lot of the credit to our agents who have worked very hard and with great success,” states Michelle Fee, Cruise Planners’ COO.
With sales increasing year after year, Cruise Planners CFO Lynn Korn feels “We are very proud of our agents and extremely delighted with our relationship with Carnival.”
